Deputy Director for International Engagement – North America

The Deputy Director for International Engagement – North America is responsible for expanding the Texas Nationalist Movement’s (TNM) outreach across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role focuses on forming strategic partnerships, promoting TNM’s mission, and engaging with supporters and organizations across North America to strengthen international support for Texas independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote TNM’s mission across North America.
  • Build relationships with political groups, advocacy organizations, and pro-independence movements in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  • Serve as the primary contact for North American advocacy inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-border events, media coverage, and public relations efforts.
  • Monitor political, social, and cultural developments in North America that may impact TNM’s work and provide updates to leadership.
  • Organize or participate in international conferences, forums, and events.

As the Deputy Director for International Engagement – North America, your efforts will strengthen TNM’s international presence by building connections and spreading awareness across North America, directly supporting the movement for Texas independence.

  • Commitment of at least 1 year.

Skills/Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in international relations, advocacy, or diplomacy.
  • Strong understanding of political dynamics in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to represent TNM professionally in North American contexts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish or French.
  • Experience working with North American media and public relations.
  • Familiarity with pro-independence or nationalist movements.
