Deputy Director for International Engagement – Asia

The Deputy Director for International Engagement – Asia is responsible for fostering relationships, building strategic alliances, and promoting the mission of the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) across Asian countries. This role focuses on expanding TNM’s international presence, engaging with supporters abroad, and identifying opportunities for advocacy on the global stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding TNM’s outreach and influence across Asia.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with pro-independence organizations, political groups, and influencers in Asian countries.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for international media coverage and public relations.
  • Coordinate with TNM leadership to organize international events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for TNM-related inquiries from Asia, responding to communications in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on political, social, and cultural developments in Asia that may impact TNM’s mission.

As the Deputy Director for International Engagement – Asia, you will play a critical role in expanding TNM’s reach beyond Texas, helping to build a global network of supporters and allies. Your work will enhance TNM’s visibility and support for Texas independence on the international stage, particularly in Asia.

Estimated Time Requirements

  • Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours during major international events or travel.
  • This is a long-term role with a commitment of at least 1 year.

Skills/Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in international relations, diplomacy, or global advocacy.
  • Strong understanding of political and social dynamics in key Asian countries.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to represent TNM professionally in international contexts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in one or more Asian languages.
  • Previous experience working with pro-independence or nationalist movements.
  • Experience with international media and public relations.
